Haohan Chromatography (Shandong) Application Technology Development Co., Ltd. has established a gas chromatography method for the determination of styrene in industrial waste gas by direct injection. The industrial waste gas samples entered the gas chromatograph through the gas injection valve for separation and detection. When the 0.25 mL gas injection valve was used, the detection limit of the method was 1.4 mg/m3, and when the styrene content was 3.19-51.0 mg/m3, The relative standard deviation of the determination results was 2.19%-4.50% (n=5). Compared with the industry standards HJ 583-2010 and HJ 584-2010, the method was simple and fast, and was suitable for the rapid determination of styrene in industrial waste gas.
