The Agilent 8860 gas chromatograph is equipped with two hydrogen flame detectors, a methane reformer and one sample injection to measure CO and CO2 in propylene at the same time and hydrocarbon impurities, a simple, accurate and rapid analytical method for the determination of trace impurities in propylene was established. The relative standard deviation of the method is less than 10%, the detection line (S/N=3) is 1 mg/l, the average recovery rate is 94.3%-101.1%, the analysis speed is fast, the stability is good, the efficiency is high, and the results are accurate and reliable. After experiments, the method can fully meet the analysis of CO, CO2 and hydrocarbon impurities in propylene.
