In view of the increase of medium and small-scale hydrogen users, the process principle and technical characteristics of the new technology of methanol steam reforming and pressure swing adsorption separation for hydrogen production are introduced; the process raw materials, power consumption, and environmental protection compliance are explained separately. The results show that this process can produce food-grade carbon dioxide while producing 99.99% hydrogen.
